On 15 March 2024, the RICE laboratory at DIBRIS (Robots and Intelligent systems for Citizens and the Environment, https://rice.dibris.unige.it/) triumphed in the robot dog contest at the European Robotics Forum 2024. The team, comprising seven Robotics Engineering students and led by Zoe Betta, a doctoral candidate in DIBRIS, navigated their quadruped robot through both a labyrinth and an obstacle course, achieving the fastest time with the least number of penalties.
The team won a Unitree Go1 quadruped robot as a prize for their victory! The picture shows the RICE team with their best friend named “PlanA”.
